Tips From The Service Lane - Vehicle Maintenance
June 20th, 2009 in News, Uncategorized
The best preventive maintenance, other than taking care of your tires and changing your oil, is to keep the air intake system and fuel system clean. These systems are an important part of regulating air and fuel into your engine, allowing it to perform at it’s optimal level. The best way to keep these vital parts clean and functioning properly is by changing your air filter every 15k miles, cleaning your throttle body and intake every 15k-30k miles and changing your fuel filter every two years or 30k miles. This regular maintenance will essentially help the engine breathe easier.
