Two suspension choices Provide selection to HHR buyers. - FE1 Touring Suspension - Provides a softer ride with a solid, precise feel. Standard on 1LS and 1LT. - FE3 Sport Suspension - Provides a firmer ride and tighter handling characteristics to meet more demanding driving requirements. Standard on 2LT.

Rigid structure The Delta platform provides a highly rigid structure for suspension components, adding to HHR’s agile ride and handling characteristics.

Speed-sensitive electric power steering system Allows for precisely tuned variable steering effort, with a lighter feel at low speeds (to help parking, for example, and other situations where more assist is desirable), and a firmer feel at highway speeds (for improved road feel). Precise tuning provides for optimum handling characteristics based on vehicle speed and operating circumstances.

All-speed Traction Control Included with the automatic transmission, traction control reduces the tendency of the drive wheels to spin on slippery or unstable surfaces. The system can be turned off for certain driving conditions, such as driving through deep snow.

Brake system 4-wheel antilock brake system is standard on the 2LT.

Contoured, sculpted seats Front bucket seats are very supportive and firm, yet extremely comfortable on long trips. Individual armrests for driver and front passenger are attached to the seatback frame and can be flipped up and out of the way.

Flat load floor HHR is easy to load; with a low cargo floor that’s level with the lower lip of the rear tailgate opening. The rear bench seat can fold flat for improved cargo carrying capability, up to 57.7 cu. ft. without having to remove the rear seat.

Hard surfaces in cargo area Floor and backs of seats have a hard surface for better protection and easier cleaning.
