2021 Chevrolet Silverado Trim Level Comparison
The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado has ten trim levels and an additional four special edition trim levels. Each trim level is like its own truck, with separate pricing and features, but they’re all 2021 Chevrolet Silverado trucks at heart. We’ll briefly discuss each of your options.
We’ll start with some of your high-end options. The High Country trim level comes with 22-inch wheels, a power up/down tailgate, and the Technology Package, among other features. The LTZ Z71 Plus trim level comes with 20-inch wheels and the Z71 Off-Road & Protection Package. A similar option, the LTZ Z71 Premium trim level, also comes with the same package, along with three other packages.
For intense off-road drivers, we recommend either the LT Trail Boss or the Custom Trail Boss trim levels. The first comes with a 2-inch lift, 18-inch mud-terrain wheels, and four packages that cater to passenger comfort and safety. The Custom Trail Boss also comes with the same suspension lift and wheels. In addition, it features an automatic locking rear differential and three different packages that focus on convenience features, entertainment, and towing.
If you just like to hit the trails occasionally, the RST All Star Z71, RST All Star Z71 Plus, LT All Star, LT All Star Z71 Plus, of the Custom trim levels will suffice. All of the ones with Z71 in their titles come with the Z71 Off-Road & Protection Package. The other two both offer the Trailering Package among other features. Special Edition trim levels come with even more additional features. Plus, they have distinct designs that make them stand out. The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado offers four of them.
The first is the RealTree Edition. This outdoorsy model is easily recognized by its camo graphics on its hood, outside box, and tailgate. Other notable features include its Realtree logo, 2-inch lift, black-painted wheels, and camo interior accents.
If you want more than just black wheels, you’ll have to opt for the Midnight Edition, which is a trim level dedicated to the color. It has black badging, black bumpers, black wheels, and dark bezels in its headlights. Other than its dark features, it also comes with performance features as well.
Black features are a theme for the other two special editions as well. The Rally Edition has a black hood stripe, black badging, black emblems, black assist steps, and more. The Redline Edition goes for a combination of black and red, with black wheels, red recovery hooks, black emblems, red outlines for its emblems, black door handles, red striping, and more.
