These are the two questions that we will be aiming to answer on this page. We’ll start with the trim levels. Unlike many models, the 2021 Chevrolet Trax keeps your decision simple with just two trim levels, the LS and the LT.  

The 2021 Chevrolet Trax LS is the base trim level. Its starting MSRP is the one that you may have heard cited for the 2021 Chevrolet Trax, $21,400. This is a great basic option with all the bare bones that you need for a perfect commuter car. Its key features include 10 airbags, a rear-view camera, a Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with a 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen, and a front, fold-flat passenger seat.  

The 2021 Chevrolet Trax LT is the only higher trim level option that you have. It starts out at $23,200 MSRP. It will maintain the key features of the 2021 Chevrolet Trax LS and add some of its own. Some of the features that are exclusive to the LT include roof rack side rails, cruise control, a remote vehicle starter system, and LED daytime running lamps. These features make it a perfect vehicle for longer trips, and you may want to choose it if you travel with large equipment, drive in the dark, or simply like to have a few extra conveniences in your vehicle. Two special editions of the 2021 Chevrolet Trax are the Midnight Edition and the Sport Edition. If you didn’t know, these special editions differ from trim levels because they are add-on features. You still have to buy one of the trim levels above, and then you can get these special editions as packages.  

The first one is the Midnight Edition. It can be added to the LT model only. It comes with black wheels, all-season tires, black skid plates, black bowtie emblems, and black door handles among other things. 

Your other option is the Sport Edition. Want to look a little sportier? This edition adds black wheels, black skid plates, all-season tires, black bowtie emblems, and body-color door handles.
