The performance and efficiency of the all-new turbo-diesel engine are aided by a forged steel crankshaft, an aluminum engine block, and the Active Thermal Management System, which warms up the propulsion parts more rapidly. The turbo-diesel engine also features a Stop/Start system, which temporarily shuts off the engine while idling for improved fuel economy.
