The 2023 Chevy Blazer Is Powerful and Surefooted

How does the Blazer put the power to the pavement? Two ways – and both of them are great. The powertrain options are: 

2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder. Turbocharging motors used to be a risky venture as the added pressure could create reliability problems. Through decades of progress, using turbocharging is no longer so risky. And the rewards are great, as here we have a medium-sized 4-cylinder cranking out excellent power. The motor’s stats and features include: 

  • 228 horsepower and 258 foot-pounds of torque. This is plenty of power to get you and your things wherever you like.  
  • Start / stop technology that helps save gas by shutting the engine off when it makes sense to do so (like at a stop light).  
  • The motor is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and 4WD is an option. 

3.6L V6. The V6 is long well known for being capable of producing tremendous amounts of torque, and ample horsepower. This optional, smooth-revving engine is no different – and it delivers. 

  • 308 horsepower and 270 foot-pounds of torque. Tow your toys, haul your things, bring your people – with ease.  
  • Also utilizes start / stop technology. 
  • Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and has available drive modes when equipped with 4WD.
