What is Hitch View for the Chevrolet Silverado? 

The Chevrolet Silverado offers you fifteen different camera angles to work with for connecting a trailer and driving with a trailer. Each of these unique views offers a different benefit. Below, we will take you through the fifteen unique camera angles to give you an idea of what you are working with. 


Four available hitch view angles 


Chevrolet Silverado Hitch View 

The standard hitch view gives you a close up look at the connector hitch, which can help you line up your truck with your trailer for easy connecting. 

Chevrolet Silverado Surround View 

This view gives you a bird’s eye view of your truck, allowing you to see what is around your truck, including where your truck is in relation to your trailer.

Chevrolet Silverado Rear Top-Down View 

Use rear top-down view to see the clearance distance between your truck’s bed and surrounding objects.

Six available driving view angles 


Chevrolet Silverado Transparent Trailer 

The transparent trailer view allows you to see what is behind the trailer that you are towing. It makes your trailer transparent on the display. 

Chevrolet Silverado Front Camera View 

The front view can help you get an idea of how close the front of your vehicle is to an approaching object. This is useful for parking and tight spaces. 

Chevrolet Silverado Pic-in-Pic Side View 

Available with an accessory camera, this view combines two other views to give you another camera angle option.

An accessory camera is also necessary for this view, which shows you objects behind the trailer you are towing. 

Chevrolet Silverado Inside Trailer View 

Requiring an accessory camera, this view will show you what’s going on inside of your trailer. It is helpful for keeping an eye on animals.
