Chevrolet Trucks Forms Partnership with Carhartt Workwear Clothing Brand

Two iconic Detroit-based companies recently joined forces. Chevrolet, producer of popular vehicles like the Silverado and Colorado, and Carhartt, the top workwear clothing brand in America, formed a strategic partnership.

Chevrolet Trucks: Official Partner of Carhartt

For the strategic partnership, Chevy Trucks will be the Official Partner of Carhartt, while Carhartt will become the Official Workwear of Chevy Trucks. Carhartt was founded in 1889 when its founder, Hamilton Carhartt, recognized the need for stronger durable garments for railroad engineers. The Carhartt bib overall was created and rapidly evolved into the standard for quality workwear. Since then, Carhartt expanded its workwear clothing line to coats, jackets overalls, shirts, hats, vests, jeans, dungarees, and fire-resistant clothing, as well as an outdoor clothing line.

Chevrolet produces an impressive lineup of highly-capable pickup trucks. This includes the Chevy Silverado 1500 large light-duty truck, with its high-level durability and toughness, robust engine options, high towing and payload capacities, and off-road prowess. Additional Chevy trucks include the Colorado midsize truck and the Silverado 2500HD and Silverado 3500 heavy-duty trucks. With the strategic partnership between Chevy Trucks and Carhartt, there are many opportunities for marketing and product placement in the near future. This includes the Chevy Truck tour that will visit more than 50 events this year, showcasing new Chevy products to more than 3 million guests across the country. For the Chevy Truck tour, organizers will wear Carhartt clothing.
