This is a dual-zone system, which means that if you do not sync the two zones, then you have the option to set different temperatures for each zone. Some Chevrolet vehicles may come with more or fewer zones. Two-zone vehicles usually have a left zone for the driver and a right zone for the front passenger to choose their settings. Three-zone vehicles will often have the rear seats be the third zone, allowing rear-seat passengers to also set their own temperature, with the option to override control for the driver.
