We all want to know how fast the Chevy Corvette Z06 is when it hits the track, but what we really need to know is – what are the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 performance features – that make this automotive masterpiece a demon on the track. Find out with a guide to Chevy Corvette Z06 performance features by Carl Black of Nashville!

Chevy Corvette 5.5-Liter DOHC V-8 Engine

When the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 arrives in Summer 2022, it will feature a brand-new and one-of-a-kind 5.5-liter DOHC V-8 engine that will shell out 670 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 6,300 rpm. Elements of the Chevy Corvette LT6 engine that make it the most powerful naturally-aspirated V-8 engine on the road include an all-new lightweight flat-plane crankshaft that allows the engine to rev at a higher range, an aluminum cylinder block, an active split intake manifold and forged aluminum pistons. Paired with the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Chevy Corvette Z06 will run from zero to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds – faster than the Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren 650S, Ferrari 488 Pista, Porsche Panamera and more.

Chevy Corvette Wheels, Tires and Design

To deliver the agility and handling you need at high speeds, the Chevy Corvette Z06 features a wider, more aerodynamic design that is 3.6 inches wider than the standard Chevy Corvette Stingray. A signature front splitter and aggressive rear spoiler create 365 more pounds of downforce at 186 mph. The aggressive, aerodynamic design is made even more impressive with specially-designed wheels and tires with 20 x 10-inch front wheels and 21 x 13-inch rear wheels that are clad with Michelin® Pilot Sport tires that provide the grip you need at high speeds.

Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0 works in tandem with Launch Control, StabiliTrack Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Performance Traction Management and an Electronic Limited Slip Differential to deliver world-class performance on the track.

Chevy Corvette Z07 Performance Package

Do you want to amp up performance even more? The 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 can take performance to the next level with a Z07 Performance Package. When you opt for the Z07 Performance Package, it will add a Carbon Fiber aerodynamic package with a larger front splitter and a rear wing, an upgraded Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension system, upgraded Michelin® Sport Cup 2 tires, Carbon Fiber wheels that are 41 pounds lighter and Brembo® carbon-ceramic brakes.
