Chevrolet recently released a press release on the new 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe. Now we know that these two vehicles will be produced starting next year in Arlington, Texas. We have also learned what’s new for these two vehicles. Below, we have written about what we believe to be the three best new features of the 2021Chevrolet Suburban. 

Three best features of the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban 

2021 Chevrolet Suburban advanced available suspension 

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban, as well as the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, offer the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension system and Magnetic Ride Control, which are not offered by any competing vehicles. These suspension systems are exclusive to certain trim levels, but they are well worth the upgrade. The Air Ride Adaptive Suspension automatically adjusts ride height and load level as you drive. The system can lower the ride height up to four inches to improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency in certain conditions and make it easier for passengers to board. With this new suspension, the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban doesn’t compromise on performance and drive-feel, as stated in this quote:

Despite being big, they offer responsive, confidence-inspiring handling that will change expectations for the full-size SUV driving experience,” said Tim Herrick, vice president, global product programs. 

2021 Chevrolet Suburban new design features 

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban received several new design features. Many of them are made for both style and efficiency, such as the dual exhaust offered on select trim levels with gas engines and the standard LED headlamps and LED taillamps. Other design features are solely to please the eye. Namely, the nine exterior color options, which include three all-new colors: Empire Beige Metallic, Cherry Bomb Tintcoat, and Darkmoon Blue Metallic. Still, some design features are just for efficiency, such as the active front grille shutters that can close automatically to enhance aerodynamics when appropriate. 

2021 Chevrolet Suburban dimensions and capacities 

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is larger than its predecessor, the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban. Dimension information has already been released and shows that the 2021 Chevrolet Suburban has gained 4.1 inches to its wheelbase length, 2.3 inches to its second-row legroom, 2.2 inches to its third-row legroom, and 23 cubic feet of cargo space over the previous model.
