The 2.5L DOHC I-4 engine produces 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.6L DOHC V6 engine churns out 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The 2.5L engine is paired with the Hydra-Matic 6-speed automatic transmission, while the V6 engine is mated to the Hydra-Matic 8-speed automatic transmission. With the 2.5L engine, the Colorado gets an estimated fuel economy of up to 20 city/26 hwy mpg. With the V6 engine, the Colorado gets an estimated fuel economy of up to 18 city/25 hwy mpg.

2.8-liter I-4 Turbo-Diesel Engine for the 2020 Colorado

The 2.8-liter I-4 Turbo-Diesel engine for the 2020 Colorado features a common rail direct fuel injection system. Mated to the Hydra-Matic 6-speed automatic transmission, it doles out 186 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. With the Turbo-Diesel engine, the Colorado gets an estimated fuel economy of up to 20 city/30 hwy mpg.
